Nonfiction exploring a range of themes including Afrofuturism, Black womanhood, and the trifecta of memory, identity, and place, can be found in a variety of digital publications alongside print anthologies including Black in the Middle: An Anthology of the Black Midwest.
Fiction spanning speculative, horror, and science fiction. Drawing on my work as a journalist, these stories are often inspired by the dystopias of everyday life. As an Afrofuturist, ancestral memory and transformation are also recurring themes. My fiction can be found online and physical journals like Mizna 23.2: Black Swana Takeover.
